In 2013 we are presenting a new video interview with a violin expert and performer every month.
This time a video interview with the violin maestro, Igor Ozim, on Mendelssohn’s masterpiece, in which he talks about his lifelong musical experience, the different ways he has approached learning and reworking the concerto, as well as the importance of one particular violinist for Mendelssohn while composing it. Enjoy listening to this great artist and much sought after teacher talk for five minutes about one of the best-loved violin concertos of all.

The prizes will be sent free of charge to the winners. No cash alternative is available in lieu of the stated prize. The competition is only open to people aged 18 or over.
