Violin video: Ingolf Turban on Paganini’s Capricci op. 1

Rhapsody in School
For years we’ve been supporting a music project that has what it takes: “Rhapsody in School”, set up by the pianist Lars Vogt. Instead of moaning about a supposed lack of interest amongst children and young people in “classical” music or trying to get every child to play an instrument, successful musicians visit schools and, thanks to their own enthusiasm and ability, awaken interest in music making amongst children. Two "Best Edition" 2012 awards
G. Henle Publishers has been honoured with the German Music Edition Prize 2012 for two separate publications. On 23 March 2012 at the Frankfurt Music Fair, a volume in the Joseph Haydn Complete Edition and the Chronological thematic catalogue of the works of Max Reger and their sources were awarded "Best Edition". Tous les lauréats de l’International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn de cette année sont désormais connus. Lors de la grande finale du concours, le jury a décerné, devant les spectateurs enthousiastes de la Beethovenhalle, le premier prix au Chinois Jingge Yan.
