Le monde de la musique est engagé dans un grand voyage exploratoire. En effet, les compositrices, qui n’étaient connues jusqu’à présent que de cercles restreints, sont désormais jouées de plus en plus souvent. Dans ce contexte, Lili Boulanger est considérée comme l’une des découvertes les plus importantes. Elle fut la première femme à remporter la plus haute distinction au célèbre concours de composition du prix de Rome en 1913. Le prix consistait en une bourse et un séjour d’études à la Villa Médicis à Rome. C’est là qu’en 1914 virent le jour, entre autres, quelques pièces pour piano, comme «D’un vieux jardin», «D’un jardin clair» et «Cortège», qui allient magistralement impressionnisme et modernité, et furent publiées aussitôt après sa mort. L’édition Urtext de ces pièces de Lili Boulanger, raffinées et généralement très agréables à jouer, s’appuie en particulier sur les manuscrits autographes et sur les premières éditions. Andreas Pernpeintner, born in 1982, read music pedagogy, musicology and history at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). Expansion of his thesis into the book publication “Klaviertechnik nach Ansgar Janke. Bewegungsoptimierung beim Instrumentalspiel”. In 2012 doctorate in musicology with the thesis “Aloys Georg Fleischmann (1880–1964). Musikalische Mikrogeschichte zwischen Deutschland und Irland”, research stays in Ireland and Great Britain, doctorate on a scholarship from the “Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes”. Pernpeintner worked for the “Bayerische Musiker-Lexikon Online” From 2011 to 2024, he was employed by the “Kritische Ausgabe der Werke von Richard Strauss”, for which he edited all of the composer’s lieder with piano accompaniment. As a music journalist he has written for the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. Since 2024 he has been an editor at G. Henle Publishers with a focus on piano music and works by female composers.
