More than 75 years after our founding, the familiar blue Urtext editions you know and appreciate are gaining companions in orange. Our publishing house’s new imprint is called Horizons. In the autumn of 2026, these new editions will reach distributors, music retailers and musicians for the first time. 

Horizons offers discoveries and exciting additions to the repertoire, arrangements of well-known works for alternative scorings, as well as orchestral studies and pedagogically oriented publications. 

Horizons upholds the quality that has distinguished Henle editions for more than 75 years: thoroughly researched and meticulously prepared, reliable musical texts, presented in editions that are optimally designed for practical music-making. 

Horizons launches with editions for piano and for strings, as well as chamber music for strings with and without piano. Editions for all classical instruments, both solo and ensemble, will follow. 

We are confident that Horizons will offer a rich and varied repertoire to those who have always been at the heart of our work: musicians around the world. 

Sales of these new editions will begin on October 1, 2026. From that date, this page will feature all editions available for delivery.
