Amelio Trio – Crossing Horizons

Concert on 7 October 2026 in the Max-Joseph-Saal of the Munich Residenz

Tickets

The Amelio Trio embodies everything that distinguishes a world-class ensemble: instinctive interplay, stylistic versatility, artistic curiosity, and an unmistakable musical energy. As a prize-winner at the 2023 ARD Music Competition and the 2024 German Music Competition, and as the newly appointed ECHO Rising Star for the 2026/27 season, it is one of the ensembles that passionate concertgoers should absolutely experience live.

Munich audiences now have another opportunity to do so. Henle Publishers has taken on the role of concert presenter and, together with the trio—long closely associated with the publishing house—has curated a special program for an evening of music that will resonate long after the final note.

The trio’s repertoire choice further attests to its musical depth: two unjustly rarely performed works by the German composer Johann Nepomuk Hummel and the Spanish composer Joaquín Turina are followed by a masterpiece by the great Romantic Antonín Dvořák.

The concert will be moderated by Dr. Norbert Gertsch, managing director of Henle Publishers.

Programme:

Johann Nepomuk Hummel: Piano Trio in E-flat major, op. 12
Joaquín Turina: Círculo … op. 91
Antonín Dvořák: Piano Trio No. 3 in F minor, op. 65
